Yes, yes and yes are the answers you might now be looking for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Yes<\/em>, this really does exist, <em>yes<\/em> you really can visit and <em>yes<\/em> I have created my own trip &#8211; <em><strong>Bhutan: Happiness is a Place<\/strong><\/em> &#8211; for 2021 and will be your Tour Guide in November (was that a fourth <em>yes<\/em>?) If ever there is a place that lives up to the over-used &#8216;<em>once in a lifetime<\/em>&#8216; &#8211; then Bhutan is it. Promise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All I am asking at this stage, is <strong>are you interested<\/strong>? If so&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How can you <strong>join me<\/strong>? Please read on&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Last year I was fortunate enough to travel to both Nepal and Bhutan, scouting them as potential future destinations. Some of you will have read about that experience here; <a href=\"http:\/\/2ndcupoftea.com\/2020\/02\/01\/bhutan-the-last-shangri-la\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">Bhutan &#8211; The Last Shangri-La?<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On this trip was the wonderful Vivek, who works with a great tour agency (if you like, you can hear Vivek talk about Bhutan on the <em>Mind, Body and Health<\/em> podcast <a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/episode\/7EvDA4gjhXuoiryWH88TIQ?si=4Nv0pasQRSW5e46c-OHPPw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" class=\"broken_link\">here<\/a>). We both fell in love with Bhutan and as soon as we returned discussed how we can share this with future visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are now putting the finishing touches to a tailor-made itinerary for November 2021, to coincide with a wonderfully colourful local festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img src=\"http:\/\/2ndcupoftea.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/02\/Bhutan-November-TBC-1-e1612701882375.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4634\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>Bhutan: Happiness is a Place, November 2021<\/em><\/strong> &#8211; Trip Highlights:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Hike to the must-see to believe Tiger&#8217;s Nest Monastery <\/li><li>11 nights accommodation in 3 and 4 star hotels<\/li><li>Participation in the local Tang Namkhar festival<\/li><li>Gross National Happiness evening and lecture (yes, really)<\/li><li>Archery &#8211; the national sport &#8211; lesson<\/li><li>Visit to Ta Dzong fortress &#8211; a photographer&#8217;s dream<\/li><li>Experience a traditional hot stone bath<\/li><li>Local markets, temples and monasteries<\/li><li>A Buddhist blessing ceremony<\/li><li>Meet the Bhutanese &#8211; the gentlest people on Earth?<\/li><li>Stunning scenery throughout<\/li><li>Small group &#8211; max 17 participants (anything more is illegal in Bhutan)<\/li><li>Full board<\/li><li>So so much more&#8230;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>+ Optional Nepalese extension (well worth staying a little longer, I love Kathmandu).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All, I would like to know at this stage, as we finalise dates in November and cost (watch this space) is &#8211;
