Things to do in Verona, as well as places to stay and eat…<\/p>\n

There is SO much more to Verona than Juliet… It is an ancient Roman city, with a famous amphitheatre of course, and all too often is sadly ‘used’ as a convenient lunch stop-off on the way to Venice.<\/p>\n

Verona in The Evening – Most Tourists Long Gone…<\/p><\/div>\n

This is wrong; stop and stay the night, in fact stay many nights. There is so much more to see and do and not least eat and drink in this amazing city.<\/p>\n

A wonderful, cosy, homely and extremely well run B and B just outside the old city walls – 3 min walk to the Arena. Giulia the host is very friendly and if you don’t mind the (very clean and comfortable) TWO shared bathrooms, this is such a great lower budget option.<\/p>\n

It’s unusual to find something so good so close to the main square of anywhere, but then by being JUST outside the city walls and 50 metres away, Signorvino demonstrates perfectly how 99 percent of tourists sit down in the overpriced, under quality kind of places.<\/p>\n

Those who make the one minute walk to this great wine bar and shop wilt find ‘simple traditional food, linked to individual regions, to best represent the area and its characteristic food & wines’.
